SUMMARY:Creation Aesthetics Course with Jungo Endo
DESCRIPTION:We have a guest coming from across the pond!\nWe are excited to announce our good friend Jungo Endo will be joining us in September for a 2 day hands on aesthetics course. After a 5 year UK hiatus\, Jungo will be back to show off his extraordinary aesthetic skills. Keep the date clear… Scroll to the bottom to book! \nAn intro to the two-day course…\nThe excessive use of tooth-coloured ceramics in implant rehabilitations for partially and edentulous patients has traditionally led to aesthetic outcomes. However\, using both tooth and soft-tissue coloured ceramics can create a more desirable aesthetic outcome that mirrors the pre-existing soft and hard tissues. Additionally\, this type of treatment takes into account lip support and loss of biological tissues. With patients’ high aesthetic demands\, it’s important to recreate periodontal tissues and lost teeth to give restorations a natural look with proper contours. \nOn this two-day hands-on course and lecture\, Jungo Endo RDT will discuss the possible problems that may arise in highly aesthetic demanding cases and provide solutions. The course will also cover the “Oral Stratified Build-Up Technique” by Jungo Endo RDT\, which is a ceramic application process that can achieve a naturally aesthetic outcome. \nThe main objectives of this course will be:\n1. How to control the value and colour of gingival porcelain\n2. How to create life-like restoration using Creation porcelain system.\n3. Contouring\, surface texture and surface lustre.\n4. New shade taking methods of gingival porcelain.\n5. How to create natural depth and value control of zirconia restoration when Zirconia frame with facial cut back only frame design. \nJungo’s backstory…\nJungo Endo\, R.D.T.\, is an accomplished dental technician originally from Japan. He completed his studies at Yamagata Dental Technician School in 1995\, followed by a post-graduate master ceramics course at Osaka Ceramic Training Centre from 1998 to 1999. While there\, he trained under Mr. Shigeo Kataoka\, a renowned author of Nature’s Morphology (Quintessence)\, and was awarded the prestigious Shigeo Kataoka Award in 1999. Jungo honed his skills in a private lab in LA for six years\, catching the attention of Dr. John Beumer. He then joined the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) as a master ceramist and co-instructor of UCLA Advanced Prosthodontics Laboratory Training Program in 2005. \nJungo specializes in creating highly aesthetic implant-supported restorations using ceramics\, and is a renowned speaker on the subject both nationally and internationally. He established the Jungo Endo Dental Studio in Santa Monica\, California in October 2012. In 2013\, Mr. Willi Geller selected him as a member of Oral Design. Additionally\, he is part of the prestigious BioEmulation group. \nKeep an eye on our social media pages for updates – Facebook\, Instagram\, LinkedIn! \nHead back to our events page here!

SUMMARY:Immediate load with John & Margaret Wibberley
DESCRIPTION:Husband and wife team John & Margaret Wibberley will be in the CM Techstudio V2 this year!\nWe’ve been asked numerous times to address the lack of educational events working on immediate load cases. John and Margaret have done countless cases helping many restorative dentists and implant surgeons dealing with the challenges. We are so pleased to have them on board providing their wealth of quality knowledge gained from years of experience. \nThis is a 1 and a half-day comprehensive hands-on for dental technicians and clinical dental technicians who are seeking more extensive knowledge of the all-on-4 immediate loading technique. Ranging from treatment planning to the final restoration\, you will gain a solid understanding from two industry titans. \nThe main objectives of this course are (but not limited to) …\nYou will learn and understand the all-on-4 immediate load concept and gain valuable knowledge of treatment planning.\nYou will learn how to design and fabricate surgical guides.\nDesign and fabricate upper provisional screw retained restoration for immediate loading.\nLearn the design and fabrication of the final full arch fixed and removable restorations.\nFinally\, understand the implications of costing and cost analysis. \nAs always\, our courses are designed to be an open forum for discussion. You should leave with no immediate load question unanswered! \nA little bit about the duo!\nMargaret…\nMargaret began her career in Dental Technology in 1996 at Glasgow Dental Hospital\, where she worked in the prosthetics department. She earned her qualification as a dental technician in 1999 and her diploma in dental technology in 2005. During her 16 years at the hospital\, she progressed to lead her own team in the lab and gained expertise in complex fixed and removable implant and obturator cases.  Margaret always maintained contact with her patients\, which she attributed to her success. \nShe left the Dental Hospital in 2011 to run an implant department within a commercial lab\, where she discovered immediate loading. Margaret regularly attended clinics for immediate loading and chairside technical support. In 2013\, Margaret opened her own lab\, where she supported clinicians and patients throughout their implant journey\, from planning to final restoration. Currently\, she is pursuing her Clinical Dental Technology journey at the University of Central Lancashire. As always\, she is enthusiastic about her future treating patients. \nJohn…\nJohn was one of the first full time students who studied for a Certificate in Dental Technology. He qualified in 1978 from Manchester Polytechnic. He worked at Manchester Dental Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital before gaining his advanced City and Guilds Qualification in crown and bridgework. In 1980\, he joined the RAF dental branch\, gaining a lot of experience. After leaving the RAF\, he gained valuable commercial experience in several different labs\, before opening his own\, Portland Ceramics\, in August 1985. This is where he specialised in implant supported restorations and removable prosthetics. He ran his lab successfully for sixteen years before selling it to Boots Dental Care in 2001.In June 2005\, the British Institute of Dental and Surgical Technologists awarded John a Fellowship. \nJohn has travelled extensively attending courses and presenting at various conferences around Europe. Europe. This includes the Association of Dental Implantology\, the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry\, Nobel BioCare World Conference\, the Createch symposium\, the international removable denture conference in Tokyo\, and Neodent conference in Brazil. After qualifying as a Clinical Dental Technician in 2015\, John received further training in Japan with Dr Jiro Abe. He is now an international instructor in the Lower Suction Denture Technique and works as a CDT with a multi disciplinary team at Edinburgh Dental Specialist. \nWith all that experience and knowledge\, you don’t want to miss this one.
